Service Packaging

With the goal to create fifty boxes to send to the World’s 50 Best Bars and to present the new Paradiso’s universe menu in times of pandemics, Makeat analyzed, contextualized, adapted and designed a packaging and home experience. The aim was to surprise and show that Paradiso is at the vanguard of the cocktails by creating a new delivery experience.

With the goal to create fifty boxes to send to the World’s 50 Best Bars and to present the new Paradiso’s universe menu in times of pandemics,

Makeat analyzed, contextualized, adapted and designed a packaging and home experience. The aim was to surprise and show that Paradiso is at the vanguard of the cocktails by creating a new delivery experience.

The process started with a deep research on the brand identity, identifying concepts, trends, materials and textures, shapes and color palette. We created conceptual and aesthetic moodboards to decide together with the client the direction to follow. We recognized a pattern of the unknown, deep and impressive, which led to dark but vibrant colors in a union point between the tropic and the space.

Seeking to present a surprising place where all temptations are allowed, a magical and unique space where you can taste cocktails from the 3rd World’s Best Bar, we thought of the unboxing and discovering experience through its content distribution.
We emphasized the graphics exterior and a functional interior. The packaging showed an explosion of the three different worlds that the drinks represented: the volcano, the cosmos and the clouds, expressing the values of the cocktails and the image of Paradiso.

They gave us the piece to measure well
these 2-3 mm that were added to the geometry in its post-processing and we corrected the model. As this was digitally parameterized it allowed fast and optimized changes. The final tool was made in silicone to be able to adjust perfectly to the final shape, taking into account a margin of difference between pieces of half a millimeter.

The garnish gadget had to be in line with it, representing the same values: curiosity, surprise and attraction. We seeked to express the same message as the packaging, with this being the last surprise you would get from the entire cocktail experience.

The final result showed a fine and elegant box, made out of hard cardboard with a magnet closing system and a universe graphic background with the raising logo. Once you opened the packaging you would find the different lightened elements laying on a high density foam.
