Makeat captures Paradiso's essence and identity through different innovative products that exalt and give meaning to the drink. The studio understands the importance of coherence between the design pieces with the identity of the brand, as well as the storytelling behind them.
The narrative is key in this project that seeks to make the customer travel to space. The different creations experiment with light, movement and circularity, starting the journey on Earth with the sustainable coasters.
Humans wouldn't be able to know space without first taking care of their home; nature. This is the reason why Paradiso challenged Makeat with the design brief of sustainable coasters. These are done with the leftovers from the cocktail bar like orange peels and mint, among others. The recipe is left to dry in a mold engraved with Paradiso's logo, so the identity is present in the designs although each coaster is different and unique for its components.

The second creation is the Tornado, an interactive tray to support the drink that simulates the effect of the tornado and ends up mixing the cocktail in front of the customer. This is an innovative design that makes the user a participant in the process.
Next is the Aurora, a lightning coaster that shapes the ice from the cold lands where the polar lights and their magic appear. With a glass that spreads the light over its entire surface, the cocktail and the coaster are perceived as one, creating an immersive experience around its narrative.

Finally, in a pandemic context where bars have adapted to the new conditions, Paradiso together with Makeat have reinvented the QR menu in the most creative way. Following the universe storytelling, the customers now receive a lightning full moon that contains the QR to scan inside.
Projects like this allow the studio to explore new fields in the most creative way, and learn every day from new challenges. Makeat focuses on the experience design for its creations, always taking into account the interaction with its users. Surprising through innovation is what we seek in every action we take when creating.
